Request for Candidates – Annual Meeting in October

The Annual Meeting of the Membership of your Association will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 in the Fitness Center (pending the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic) for the purpose of electing a Board of Directors. You will receive an official meeting notice with the voting ballot.

At this time, we are requesting candidates for the Board of Directors. The Board consists of five members. This year, there are two positions up for re-election, each for a two year term.

If you’re interested in running for the Board, you can complete the form that has been mailed, or e-mailed to you and return it to the management office that’s located on the third floor of the building. If you’re unable to submit the form in person, please mail it to the building address and c/o Management Office. The form must be submitted prior to 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 4th. Hard copies are also available at the front desk.

Katsuya is Reopen!

Katsuya is now reopen for dinner dine-in service. Their operating hours are 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. from Sunday through Thursday, and 5:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Reservations are suggested and can be made by calling (323) 871-8777 or emailing

Gym Update

Due to the recent spike in COVID-19 cases in Los Angeles County, the gym will remain closed until further notice. In the meantime, all free weights and exercise balls will be available on the rooftop for everyone’s use as weather permits.

Pool is Reopen

As of Wednesday, June 3rd, the pool is reopen due to the adoption of temporary emergency rules that occurred on May 29th. Reservations to use the pool can be made at the front desk and waivers must be signed by everyone. To obtain a copy of the rules, please reach out to management at

Face Coverings are Now Mandatory in Common Areas

As a result of an emergency executive meeting by the Association’s Board of Directors that occurred at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, May 8th, it is now mandatory to wear a face covering when in the common areas of the building. The common areas include, but are not limited to, all building hallways, valet areas, the lobby, elevators, laundry room, (gym, pool, currently closed until further notice), and rooftop areas. The purpose and effect of the emergency rules are to mitigate the spread / transmission of the Covid-19 disease in the Association’s common areas, where the disease can be easily transmitted if appropriate and reasonable health / mitigation measures are not taken. In addition to the new face covering requirement, there are also new social / physical distancing requirements. If you would like a copy of the new rules, please contact management.

The newly adopted emergency rules will be effective for 120 days in accordance with California Civil Code. The Board does have the ability to modify or rescind the rules prior to the end of the 120 day period. Any modifications will be considered on the advisement from health officials on the county and state levels.
