Board Candidates & Association Meeting

As a reminder, candidate nomination forms must be turned into management before 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 18th if you wish to be considered eligible to run for the Board. If you have yet to receive the forms, they can be picked up at the front desk, or they can be emailed to you via management.

The next Broadway Homeowners Association meeting will take place on Tuesday, September 17th at 6:30 p.m. in the fitness center. If you’re unable to attend and have a matter that you would like to discuss, please contact management.

Request for Candidates – Board of Directors

Request for candidate and candidate statement forms have been sent out for the upcoming Board of Directors election. There are three seats up for election. If you would like to run, complete the candidate statement form and return it to management before 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 18th. Should you not receive these items before September 7th, please contact management or you can pick up the forms from the front desk.

Boiler Servicing – Hot Water Interruption

On Tuesday, August 27th, The Stanley Louis Company will be on-site servicing the building’s boiler. The servicing includes draining, cleaning, and relining the tank to prolong the life of it. As a result of the servicing, there will be an interruption in your hot water service. The interruption will begin at approximately 9:00 a.m. and could last until 9:00 p.m. I apologize in advance for any inconvenience that this may cause you. Annual Reg 4 Testing – August 21, 2019

N.I.C. Protection will be on-site to perform the annual Reg. 4 testing of the fire and life safety systems on Wednesday, August 21st. The testing will start at approximately 9:00 a.m. During the testing, fire alarms will be set off intermittently (they will be very loud), the elevators will not be accessible, and a planned power outage will occur at 10:00 a.m. An announcement will be made before the outage starts. We suggest that you turn off all of your computers and any other electronics before this happens. In addition to testing the building’s master alarms, the alarms in everyone’s home / business will also be tested. Access into every unit is MANDATORY.

Window Washing to Begin

The annual window washing cycle is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, August 7th. During the window washing cycle, the staff from MPM Building Services will be on-site from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday. The washing cycle will last approximately two weeks.
