• Developer wants to use CEQA streamlining program for Hollywood & Wilcox Project. The proposed development calls for the construction of a mid-rise building containing 260 apartments with approximately 17,800 square feet of ground-floor retail, restaurant, and office space. The LeFrak Organization, the developer, has submitted the project for designation as an environmental leadership development project, a distinction which is reserved to developments budgeted at $100 million that meet certain criteria regarding environmental impact and sustainability. • Hamilton’s coming back to LA, and Broadway’s taking over 2 Hollywood theaters. Big Broadway shows tend to find their way to either the Pantages or the Ahmanson, but there’s a new theater joining the mix. As part of a new agreement, the Pantages will be splitting the “Broadway in Hollywood” season with the nearby Dolby Theatre. Their 2019=2020 season includes Anastasia, Summer: The Donna Summer Musical, Disney’s Frozen, and Hamilton. Click below for more (via LAist)

• The famous Italian pizzeria from “Eat Pray Love” is opening in Hollywood. L’Antica Pizzeria da Michele arrives this spring in the former Café des Artistes space. It’s a big arrival to the center of Hollywood, with a large 3,000 square foot interior and a gorgeous patio. Just like L’Antica Pizzeria da Michele’s original Naples restaurant, it’ll serve two types of wood-fired pizzas: marinara and margherita. Click below for more (via Eater Los Angeles)
