Construction Update – Concrete Pour

The much anticipated concrete pour will take place this Saturday morning, October 8th. The set up of the equipment on Hollywood Boulevard will begin at 8:00 a.m. and the pour will begin at approximately 9:00 a.m.

During the pour, the eastbound lanes of Hollywood Boulevard between Ivar and Vine will be closed. However, there will be no sidewalk closure.

The actual pour itself will last for approximately five hours. However, the on-site crew will be on the roof working all day. After the pour, it is absolutely imperative that everyone stays off of the roof while the concrete cures. The curing process is estimated to take ten days to complete.
